We went to California 2 weeks before Caitlin's birthday and gave her the option of being able to celebrate it early there with Grandpa and Nana and Serge and Sara and their sweet family. Of course her choice was yes! I had such a fun time making her cake this year that she chose. We like to roast starburst in the fireplace (a Tennessee tradition-thanks Tammy) so she wanted a fire cake-although Cali. weather was a little to warm for that fire roasting-but she still had lots of fun!!
